A Shelter Dog

I went to the shelter and adopted a dog today. I had originally intended to adopt a puppy, but the lady at the shelter convinced to look at a couple of older dogs they had up for adoption. She said that most of the did not have any underlying behavior problems and that with an older dog I would not have the added stress of housebreaking a puppy. I saw the greatest little dog with the spunkiest personality and deiced to go ahead and adopt her. She is sweet and cuddly and does not seem to have problems. Of course, time will tell, but so far it seems a great decision.
