Applying for Unsecured Personal Loans can happen at a great many places. Banks and credit unions are obvious sources, and probably the first sources that come to mind. It should be noted, however, that banks tend to have more strenuous guidelines for people applying for these type loans, and those with poor credit probably do not have a good shot at getting a loan here. Credit unions are more forgiving. Even more accessible than credit unions, however, are a great many independent financial institutions that loan money to people everyday as well. These can be great resources for people with imperfect or bad credit.
